1. No point using limited life to chase unlimited money.

2. No point earning so much money you cannot live to spend it.  

3. Money is not yours until you spend it.  

4. When you are young, you use your health to chase your wealth; when you are old, you use your wealth to buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.  

5. How happy a man is, not how much he has but how little he needs.  

6. No point working so hard to provide for the people you have no time to spend with.  

Remember this:  

 We come to this world with nothing,  

 We leave this world with nothing!  

 This is the proof that you don't have to have money to be happy.

Kaum Maya tidak pernah ramalkan dunia akan kiamat pada 2012?

Reuters - Jika anda bimbang dunia akan berakhir pada tahun depan berdasarkan kalendar Maya, relaks, akhir zaman masih jauh.

Begitulah kata pakar-pakar Maya yang mahu menghapuskan mana-mana kepercayaan bahawa kaum Maya kuno meramalkan satu peristiwa besar (apokalips) dunia tahun depan.

Kalendar Maya menandakan akhir kitaran 5,126 tahun di sekitar 12 Disember 2012 yang membawa kepulangan Bolon Yokte, tuhan Maya yang dikaitkan dengan perang dan penciptaan.

Pengarang Jose Arguelles mengatakan tarikh 'berakhir masa seperti yang kita tahu' dalam buku tahun 1987 yang melahirkan tentera ahli-ahli teori Maya, yang mana spekulasi tentang satu bencana akhir zaman banyak terdapat dalam talian (internet).

He…..?? is no different from his ageing peers – Samy Vellu who refuses to budge and Mahathir who still pulls strings from behind the scenes, defying the current administration with his barbed comments and his endorsement of extremist groups.

Has …..??? got what it takes to lead in Sarawak? He is afraid of no one, not even Putrajaya. He is ruthless and unprincipled. He is an opportunist who will maintain his grip on power, just like Samy Vellu.

He….??? said, “We will need people-oriented and sincere leaders with great vision for the future.” However, his actions are denying a new generation of leaders the chance to inject new life into Sarawak.

He…?? is sufficiently ruthless to remove those whom he disapproves of. Last month two Sarawak editors were removed from their positions because they wrote unflattering articles about him.

Perhaps it is not greed for power that prompted his decision. Perhaps he…??? knows something we don’t and that the person he groomed to succeed him, is not quite ready.

He…???? is aware that a weakling can easily be toppled. Moreover, the chosen sucessor may be relatively timid and unlike him, lacks the wile and cunning to protect himself and his supporters from the expected onslaught.

His…??? greatest fear is probably an investigation that could open up a Pandara’s box of controversy that won’t just implicate him but could also embarrass Putrajaya, though that is the lesser of his worries. In the final analysis, it is the Sarawakians who must decide if his leadership will pose a danger to the Sarawak economy and to society.
